Fire Reconstruction

What makes us special

Fire reconstruction has been the backbone of our business since 1976, and we have restored and rebuilt thousands of residential and commercial properties in the time since, including dozens after the Oakland Hills fire in 1991. We bring all of our experience, expertise, craftsmanship, and professionalism to every project we do, but what really sets us apart is our deep knowledge of the insurance process.

Insurance companies want to protect their bottom line, so they often send claims adjusters who rush the inspections, lowball the estimates, and then recommend contractors on their “preferred vendors” list, who will do only what the adjuster allows.

We work for YOU, NOT the insurance company.

After the recent Napa fires, one of our clients—a 76-year-old woman whose home sustained major damage—was offered just $11,000 to complete the restoration. Krueger Bros. stepped in and provided a comprehensive and realistic estimate. The report was 63 pages long and cited more than $191,000 in needed repairs.

After dealing with four different claims adjusters, Dave Krueger himself went directly to the CEO of the insurance company. Twenty-four hours later the claim was paid in full, and the homeowner was back in her properly restored home shortly thereafter.

We have hundreds of stories just like this.
